Victor Rusu, Ph.D.

Victor Rusu is a Principal at MPM BioImpact, where he focuses on private investments and new company formation. He is also VP of Discovery Strategy at an MPM BioImpact stealth company. Previously, Victor was Principal at Apple Tree Partners where he contributed to starting eight biotech companies and implemented strategic and operating plans at three portfolio companies: Deep Apple Therapeutics, Marlinspike Therapeutics, and Evercrisp Biosciences. Prior to that, he was a member of the biotech equity research team at Citigroup and, earlier, a founding scientist at Jnana Therapeutics. Victor earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University and completed his graduate training at the Broad Institute.
